Remove RaRansomware Ransomware & Restore .EGENH Files

Technical Information on RaRansomware Ransomware

Malware researchers have detected a new file-encoder virus named RaRansomware Ransomware which encrypts the files stored on victim's machine using the combination of RSA-1028 and AES-128 file encryption algorithm. After the encryption procedure, the name of each encoded file will be appended with '.EGENH' extension. In addition to that, the malware generates a file reported as 'RaRansomware – Recovery instructions.html' which consists the ransom message. Besides, the RaRansomware Ransomware places the copy of its ransom note in each folder containing enciphered files. The ransom message informs the victimized users that their important files is encrypted and they need to pay a specific amount of ransom money to get the decryptor needed to restore the files encrypted by this precarious cyber infection.

RaRansomware Ransomware

Due to the fact that the RaRansomware Ransomware uses RSA and AES cryptography algorithm, it generates two unique keys in which the first one is used to encode the data and the send key is known as decryption key. Although, the second key generated by this malware will be delivered to the hackers' remote 'Command and Control' server. That is why, victimized system users are instructed to pay the ransom fee to get the decryption key needed for file recovery. However, the exact amount that the cyber extortionists will demand is still unknown. System users infected with RaRansomware Ransomware are encouraged to visit the website associated with this malware to get the ransom payment instructions. Meanwhile, it can be assumed that the con artists will demand 500 – 1000 USD in the form of Bitcoins or other digital currency in order to provide the decryption key.

Do You Need To Pay Ransom Fee Asked by RaRansomware Ransomware?

No matter how much ransom money demanded by the creators of this notorious PC infection, you need not to pay ransom fee at any cost. Most of the research reports shows that criminal hackers often ignore the affected computer users after receiving the successful payment of ransom money. Hence, paying ransom fee to the operators of RaRansomware Ransomware provides no positive results even you will be scammed and may encounter both data and financial loss. So, it is strongly recommended by the malware researchers to ignore any requests for submitting ransom payments. Sadly, there is no decryption tool yet released by the security investigators. However, you can use alternative methods like backups copies or data recovery software that might help you restore those important system files. What's more, before initiating file restoration process, you need to perform RaRansomware Ransomware removal immediately from your machine by using a powerful anti-malware shield.
